Applications

The amino and methoxy groups couple organic polymers and inorganic fillers to improve bonding, mechanical strength, electrical properties, water resistance and aging resistance.
  1. Resin Composites
    Used in mineral-filled phenolic, polyester, epoxy, PBT, polyamide, carbonate and other thermoplastic / thermosetting resins. Greatly improves dry/wet flexural strength, compressive strength, shear strength and wet electrical properties of reinforced plastics, and enhances filler wettability and dispersion.
  2. Resin Sand Casting
    Strengthens bonding between resin and silica sand, improves molding sand strength and moisture resistance.
  3. Fiber Glass & Mineral Wool
    Added to phenolic adhesives to improve moisture resistance and compression resilience.
  4. Adhesives & Sealants
    Excellent adhesion promoter for polyurethane, epoxy, nitrile, phenolic adhesives and sealants. Improves pigment dispersion and adhesion to glass, aluminum and iron.
  5. Coatings
    Suitable for polyurethane, epoxy and acrylic latex coatings.
  6. Organosilicon Synthesis
    Used in the synthesis of amino silicone oil and its emulsions.
