• Soluble in water; hydrolyzes with water to release methanol
• Soluble in alcohols, acetone and most aliphatic esters (at dosage ≤5%)

Applications

1. Epoxy sealants & repair materials

   Suitable for quartz-filled epoxy sealants, sand-filled epoxy concrete repair materials, metal-filled epoxy mold materials; improves bonding and sealing performance.
2. Fiber glass reinforced composites

   Used for epoxy resin, ABS, phenolic resin, nylon, PBT, etc. Enhances bonding between inorganic fillers, substrates and resins, improving mechanical strength, water resistance, electrical properties and heat resistance with high retention under wet conditions.
3. Inorganic filler surface treatment

   Ideal for kaolin, talc, wollastonite, silica, quartz, aluminum powder, iron powder, aluminum hydroxide, mica, glass bubbles and other fillers.
4. Adhesives & coatings

   Improves adhesion of acrylic latex, sealants, polyurethane and epoxy systems.
