Chemical Characteristics
Si69 is a bifunctional sulfur-containing silane coupling agent. It contains hydrolyzable triethoxysilyl groups and reactive tetrasulfide bridge structure.
Ethoxy groups hydrolyze to bond with hydroxyl groups on inorganic fillers such as silica, clay and talc. The tetrasulfide group reacts with rubber molecular chains during vulcanization, forming strong chemical linkage between inorganic filler and rubber matrix. It has high sulfur activity, excellent reinforcement and good filler dispersion effect.
