Chemical Characteristics

Si75 is a bifunctional organosilane coupling agent with disulfide group and triethoxysilyl group.
The ethoxy groups can hydrolyze and react with hydroxyl groups on inorganic fillers such as silica, clay and talc. The disulfide group can react with rubber molecular chains during vulcanization to form stable chemical bonds between inorganic filler and rubber matrix. Compared with Si69, Si75 has shorter disulfide chain, better thermal stability, lower scorch tendency and no premature crosslinking during rubber mixing.

Product Application Of

Triethoxysilylpropyl Disulfide (Si75 Liquid)
  1. Si75 is a widely used multifunctional organosilicon additive for rubber and tire industries.

  2. Improves elastic modulus and tensile strength of rubber

  3. Significantly enhances wear resistance and compression performance

  4. Reduces rubber viscosity and saves processing energy consumption

  5. It is most suitable for rubber formulations using hydroxyl-containing fillers in double-bond polymers or blends.

  6. Suitable fillers: silica, silicate, chalk, etc.

  7. Suitable rubbers: natural rubber (NR), styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR), isoprene rubber (IR), butadiene rubber (BR), nitrile rubber (NBR), ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM), etc.

  8. Compared with Si96, Si75 has lower activity disulfide functional groups, providing better and more reliable scorch safety.
