Chemical Characteristics
The molecule contains one non-hydrolyzable methyl group and three hydrolyzable ethoxy groups. It can undergo hydrolysis and polycondensation under acidic or alkaline conditions to form a hydrophobic Si-O-Si crosslinked network. It has low surface tension, excellent water repellency and good weather resistance.
