LS-62 is a new type of solid aluminate coupling agent developed by our factory. It is easy to package and weigh, low in cost, and suitable for non-polar and semi-polar polymers.

Application Scope

Mainly used for surface activation modification of inorganic fillers in calcium-plastic materials, filling masterbatches, plastic profiles and pipes.

Magnetic materials: magnetic powder, magnetic ink, magnetic tape, magnetic disk, magnetic core
Magnetic plastics, magnetic rubber, magnetic coatings, magnetic inks
Waterproof coatings, water-based coatings, dyes, filler modification
Preferred additive for producing active calcium carbonate from light calcium carbonate

Usage Method

1. Dosage (by weight of powder)

Particle size <400 mesh: 0.5%
400–800 mesh: 0.6–0.8%
800–1500 mesh: 0.8–1.2%
1500 mesh: 1.5–2.5%

Note: The optimal dosage depends on filler type, particle size, surface polarity, resin type, physical properties and product requirements. For high surface polarity or high-strength products, increase dosage by 0.1–0.3% to ensure full activation.

2. Surface Modification Method

Put filler powder into a high-speed mixer and stir rapidly.
Heat to 110–120℃ to remove moisture completely.
Add metered coupling agent and stir at high speed for 5 minutes.
Add synergists such as stearic acid and paraffin, then stir for another 5 minutes.
Discharge, cool and package for later use.

Usage Effects

Greatly improves compatibility and dispersibility between inorganic fillers and polymers, allowing higher filler loading to reduce raw material cost while maintaining product quality.
Significantly reduces equipment abrasion, prolongs service life and improves production efficiency.
White color makes it especially suitable for white or light-colored products.
