Properties

This product is a macromolecular silicone material prepared by emulsion polymerization of high-purity octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane with cationic surfactant, using high-quality raw materials and reasonable process. It features the following properties:
  1. Excellent softness: Fibers, fabrics or products treated with this product show outstanding soft effect.
  2. Good surface smoothness.
  3. Certain film-forming property.
  4. Good compatibility and reactivity: With reactive hydroxyl groups at both molecular terminals, it can be combined with hydrogen-containing silicone oil emulsion to prepare fabric water repellent, and copolymerized with acrylic acid, polyurethane and other materials to form new materials for specific applications.
  5. Good water dispersibility: Can be dispersed with water in any ratio during use, convenient and pollution-free.

Applications

  1. Used for post-finishing of cotton, linen, silk, wool, synthetic fibers and their textiles. The finished fabrics are soft, smooth and elastic, with improved abrasion resistance, wash resistance, temperature resistance and water resistance.
  2. Used for treating various threads in the thread manufacturing industry (especially high-speed sewing threads), to make them smooth, enhance strength and toughness, prevent breakage and improve sewing speed.
  3. Used for treating wigs and similar products to make them soft, lustrous and smooth, and improve combing performance.
  4. Used as a release agent on the surface of leather and other products to protect the leather surface and prevent sticking.
  5. Used as a mold release agent for rubber, plastic and other materials.
  6. Used for lubrication and maintenance of floors, furniture, sofas, etc.
